Garðar Gunnlaugsson

Gardar Gunnlaugsson ( born April 25, 1983 in Akranes ) is an Icelandic football player.

Career

Gunnlaugsson began his career at ÍA Akranes. 2004 changed the striker to Valur Reykjavík, where he worked until 2005. He then went to Dunfermline Athletic to Scotland, but soon returned to KF Valur in Iceland back. From the summer of 2006, he stood at IFK Norrköping in the Superettan, the second Swedish league, under contract and were in the 2007 scorer.

In August 2008, Gunnlaugsson moved to CSKA Sofia Bulgaria. There he could convince her and barely got playing time. In January 2010, he broke his contract and joined the then Austrian tradition Club LASK Linz, where he signed a valid contract until the summer of 2012.

In the season 2010/11 Gunnlaugsson played for the German third division side SpVgg Unterhaching. For the SpVgg he scored on matchday 23 of the 2010/11 season in a 2-0 home win against VfR Aalen his only league matches.

After 6 years in Europe Gunnlaugsson returns to Iceland, and plays since 2012 back in his homeland for the first division Landsbankadeild ÍA Akranes.

Gunnlaugsson played for several youth selections Islands, but has so far not played a senior international.
