Garbage In, Garbage Out

Garbage In, Garbage Out (abbreviated GIGO ) is a humorous phrase from the computer science, stating that a computer with a high probability ( but not necessarily) produces an invalid or no meaningful output when the input is invalid or not meaningful. It is usually used to indicate that the computer does not in itself correct or meaningful input from wrong or can not distinguish meaningful. Originated the concept is probably as corruption of First In - First Out (FIFO).

Meta-analysis

Garbage In, Garbage Out also describes one, especially in its early stages, reproach to the meta-analysis. And went without distinction "good" as well as " bad" work in the analysis and would be mixed.
