The Garbeeke (also called Garbruchsgraben ) is a 3 km long river in the area of the city Bassum ( Diepholz, Lower Saxony ). Your source area is located south of the city center just west Bassumer on disposal center Bassum. It runs thence in a northerly direction, flows under the roadbed of the railway line Bremen- Osnabruck and the B 51 and flows through the Bassumer center at the " Freudenburg " in the Klosterbach. Along the waters run pulls out the 60 -hectare nature reserve Garbeeke. In its wet locations grows in Talniederung alder carr, alder, ash forest and mixed oak forest.
