The garde is a 23 km long, right or eastern tributary of the line in the district of Göttingen, southern Lower Saxony ( Germany ). She is a second-order waters.

Geography

The source of Garte is located east of White Born near the border with Thuringia. From hierab it flows first in a northerly direction. At the hamlet of Charlottenburg right side opens the coming from the southeast Glasehausener Bach. This turns the running in a northwesterly direction, flows through Beienrode (mouth of moss ground ), Kerstlingerode, Rittmarshausen (mouth of Bern Roder Bach) and Wöllmarshausen. This turns the course of Garte to the west. In Benniehausen the garde takes on the left side flowing from the south Bisch houses Bach. A few kilometers downstream then open in small Lengden coming from the northeast Bramke, comes from the north Lengder Bach and the Bach calibration. About 2 km after passing flow of Diemarden aligns the Garte its course again to the northwest. East of Rosdorf and south of Göttingen opens the Garte in the coming from the south line.

On its 23 km long path from the source to the mouth of the Garte overcomes a difference in altitude of 151 m. The average bed slope is 6.6 ‰.
