Gary Starkweather

Gary Keith Starkweather (c. 1938) is an American engineer.

Starkweather studied physics at Michigan State University and at the University of Rochester. From 1964 to 1988 he was at Xerox PARC invented there and the laser printer. From 1988 to 1997 he worked for Apple, then Microsoft.

Gary Starkweather is the holder of several patents. At the Oscars 1995 he was awarded for his work for Pixar. In 2012, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
