Gatterberge (Dorfen)
The gate is a mountain range to about 618 m above sea level. NN high and tight 50 km ², hills in Upper Bavaria, which is located near Sankt Wolfgang in the districts of Erding and Mühldorf. Its landscape is characterized by the town of St. Wolfgang referred to as " the Tuscany of Upper Bavaria ."

NN. From some points of the hill you can overlook the Inn Valley and the Chiemgau.
Cities and towns
At the gate of the mountain communities bordering St. Wolfgang, Schwindkirchen and Oberornau (belonging to Obertaufkirchen ) to. The largest resort in the mountains is the gate to St. Wolfgang belonging Schönbrunn (former municipal seat). Furthermore, the municipalities share Villages and the former municipality of Fürholzen that belongs to Kirchdorf. Traffic
The gate mountain is intersected by the circle streets ED 21/MÜ29 ( Sankt Wolfgang Schönbrunn ) and ED 22 (ED 21- Armstorf ). The federal road B15 runs immediately adjacent to the west, the B12 a little further away to the south. The only stations in the surrounding area are Villages and Schwindegg.
Winter sports and tourism
Although the gate Mountains scenic would be suitable for some winter sports, it is not accessible in this regard. Just southeast of Schönbrunn, there is a ski lift, which is taken irregularly in operation.
