Gavin Baddeley

Gavin Baddeley ( born December 28, 1966 in Cambridge, England ) is a British journalist and author. His books cover most topics in the field of Satanism and the satanic rock music.

Life and work

Born in 1966 as the son of a psychologist - married couple, Baddeley spent his childhood and teenage years, especially in his English hometown of Cambridge, the Scottish Sussex and California. At the University of East Anglia Baddeley studied Medieval and Modern European American history. At this time, Baddeley also began to acquire extensive knowledge of the history of the occult.

In the years that Baddeley worked as a freelance journalist, among other things for the Metal Hammer Magazine and The Observer, he also wrote a series of nonfiction books, mostly dealing with Satanism in general, and Satanic rock music in particular. His most famous work Baddeley, who has the rank of a Reverend in the California Church of Satan since 1995, represents Lucifer Rising: A Book of Sin, Devil Worship and Rock 'n' Roll ( Plexus Publishing, 1999) represents the history and present Satanism is dedicated.

As an expert in the history of the occult Baddeley also worked on numerous TV productions such channels such as the BBC or Channel 4.
