Gavin Mahon

Gavin Andrew Mahon ( born January 2, 1977 in Birmingham) is an English football player who is under contract with the English third division Notts County since 2011.

Playing career

Mahon began his career as a teenager at the Wolverhampton Wanderers, but it was not enough there for a professional contract. So he moved in 1996 to free Hereford United, where he remained for two and a half seasons. During this time he played 83 games and scored 4 goals. With this performance, he impressed the manager of Brentford FC, from which it was contracted. After four years and 150 missions, he finally moved to FC Watford, where he had a contract until the end of the season 2008/ 09.

Having signaled that the contract should not be renewed, Mahon joined already the end of 2007 first loan to Queens Park Rangers and signed there in July 2008 a new contract.

On 25 August 2011, he joined the third division Notts County.
