Problems during space flights
The aerospace doctors were initially assumed that an astronaut during a spacewalk in the maximum case about the physical exertion fully bring as a tennis player. A utility has been demonstrated by extensive heat and pressure tests though, but the space suit was only suitable for working in space. Especially moving through space cost the astronauts so much trouble that partially failed completely overworked air conditioning. Eugene Cernan reported after his Gemini 9 mission, that working in space was five times as challenging as the training on Earth.
Astronaut Maneuvering Unit
In addition to the Gemini space suit, there was a jet backpack, the Astronaut Maneuvering Unit. However, it was never active in space are used.
