Gene Dunlap
Gene Dunlap (* in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American musician
Dunlap began during the high school years playing drums and was acquainted with Earl Klugh, for which he received his first appearances. Other collaborations were made with Grant Green and Roy Ayers. Again and again he played with Klugh, on numerous publications.
In 1981 he presented solo albums, occasionally also as a leader, usually in the style of smooth jazz with funk influences. In 2004 he released his last album to date.
