Geoff Masters

Geoffrey " Geoff " Masters ( born September 19, 1950 in Brisbane ) is an Australian former tennis player.

He won in his career two Grand Slam titles in doubles. With his compatriot Ross Case 1974 he won the Australian Open and 1977 Wimbledon. Moreover, the two three more times in the final were: 1972 and 1976 were subject he and Case in the finals of the Australian Open, 1976 also at Wimbledon. At the U.S. Open in 1974 Geoff Masters won the mixed doubles together with Pam Teeguarden. Overall, he won 23 tournaments in a double and three other singles titles. His biggest success in individual he celebrated with the quarter-finals in 1975 at the Australian Open.

Between 1972 and 1979 Geoff Masters graduated nine games for the Australian Davis Cup team. He won both his singles matches, while he was victorious in six of his nine missions in doubles.
