Georg Ertl
Georg Ertl ( born March 17, 1901 in Augsburg, † October 22, 1968 ) was a German footballer, who played as a goalkeeper between 1925 and 1927 seven appearances in the German national football team.
Career
Clubs, 1911-1944
The 1919 FC Wacker München Come from Schwaben Augsburg goalkeeper Georg " Schorsch " Ertl had to deal with Wacker in the district of Bavaria in particular with the 1st FC Nuremberg, Fürth SpVgg Bayern München and 1860 München. Ertl joined Wacker Munich in the footsteps of goalkeeper Alfred Bernstein. Three times did the " Blue Star " in 1925, 1927 and 1928 to third place. In the final round of the South German Championship 1928 Ertl qualified with his team through the also won third place for the final round of the German soccer championship. In Munich, we sat down on July 8 with a 1-0 victory after extra time against Dresdner SC with center-half George Köhler through. As a goalkeeper, TSV 1860 München, Ertl played from 1931 to 1943 at the "Lions", he moved as a Southern German vice-champion in the round 1932/33, again in the final round of the German soccer championship 1933. After successes against VfL Benrath (Karl Hohmann, Josef Rasselnberg ) and Bytom 09 lost the "Blues" with Louis Lachner, Alois Pledl, Josef Wendl and Ertl until the semi-final against Schalke 04 with Ernst and Fritz Kuzorra Szepan in Leipzig. In the years 1934 and 1938 it came into the Gauliga Bayern to two runner-up. In 1860 Munich Ertl competed with Alfred Riemke to the goalkeeper position.
Selection vocations, 1925-1927
Ertl, who distinguished himself in the goalkeeping by impressive penalty area had to do it in southern Germany as well as later in the Gauauswahl Bavaria with the "Legend" Heiner Stuhlfauth from 1 FC Nuremberg. So his first two appearances in the national football team arrived - in June 1925 against Sweden and Finland - and the only reason possible because the Fürth players the DFB called off for the journey to Scandinavia and the 1st FC Nuremberg no player shuts off because of a dispute with the Association. On June 21, therefore, made their debut in Stockholm during the match against Sweden eight players in the DFB team, including goalkeeper Ertl Wacker München. After his fourth appearance in the national team, on April 18, 1926 in Dusseldorf against Holland, Stuhlfauth returned the next international match on June 20 in Nuremberg against Sweden again in the selection back. By his seventh deployment in the DFB team, on 2 October 1927 in Copenhagen against Denmark with the debutant Richard Hofmann and Louis Leinberger, ended the international career of Georg Ertl.
Professional and trainer
After the Second World War, the insurance clerk initially completed the training to become football coach and led as a coach in 1948 in his hometown of the BC Augsburg for promotion to the Oberliga Süd. Later he ran a Toto -off center in Munich.
