Georg Siimenson

Georg Siimenson ( born April 14, 1912 in Tallinn, † June 12, 1978 ) was an Estonian football player.

Career

Siimenson was born in 1912 in Tallinn and played in his playing days for the Estonian capital club SK Tallinna Sport. With the club, the center forward in the years 1932 and 1933 was able to win the league title and the 1938 Estonian Cup. With the Estonian national Siimenson participated in the qualification for the World Cup 1934 in part, as well as qualifying for the 3.Weltmeisterschaft 1938. During the three games ( 1938) the attacker get two goals, one of them in the final qualifier in Königsberg against the German selection, when he met the 1-0 interval lead.

For Estonia Siimenson came to a total of 42 missions, where he scored 14 goals.
