George Dzundza

George Dzundza ( born July 19, 1945 in Rosenheim, Germany ) is an American actor.

Life

Dzundza was born the son of a Ukrainian and a Polish woman in 1945 in a Bavarian refugee camp. After a few years, the family spent in Amsterdam, they migrated in 1956 to the United States.

One of his first big roles he played in 1978 in The Deer Hunter alongside Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken and Meryl Streep. In the first season of the television series Law & Order from 1990 to 1991, he played the role of Sergeant Max Greevey. In addition to his involvement in the sitcom Jesse, he was also speakers in the Batman and Superman comic series.

In various films he appeared in supporting roles in, among others, in Basic Instinct on the side of Michael Douglas, in No Way Out - There's no turning back alongside Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman. In 1995 he played again next Hackman, the boat head of a submarine in Crimson Tide - In the lowest risk, in which Denzel Washington and Viggo Mortensen participated, and performed in the high school drama Dangerous Minds.

Dzundza is married and has three children.
