George Price Highway

The Western Highway is one of the four major highways in the Central American Belize.

It starts in Belize City and leads westwards to the border with Guatemala. Here, the Western Highway passes next to the capital, Belmopan also the places Hattieville, San Ignacio and Benque Viejo del Carmen far west. The highway is approximately 130 kilometers long, fastened throughout and two lanes open to traffic.

Driving time from Belize City to the border with Guatemala is around two hours.
