George Zoritch

George Zoritch (Russian Юрий ( Георгий ) Зорич; born June 6, 1917 in Moscow, † November 1, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona) was a Russian dancer.

1935 Zoritch joined the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and touring with them after the Second World War by the United States. He is seen in a number of films, including day and night I think of you ( 1946), Samson and Delilah (1949 ) and the documentary on the Ballets Russes.

1994 got Zoritch the Nijinsky Medal, which was awarded by the Polish Ministry of Art and Culture.

George Zoritch spent his last years in Tucson, Arizona, where he died at the age of 92.
