Georges Géret

Georges GERET ( born October 18, 1924 in Lyon, † April 8, 1996 ) was a French actor.

Life

After his student days GERET joined on stage and playing in amateur theaters. Since 1952 living in Paris, he was primarily known for his role as Joseph in Luis Bunuel's Diary of a Chambermaid (1964). This is followed by numerous film and television roles in France and Italy. In Costa -Gavras ' Z he plays the assassin Nick; in the TV series after Victor Hugo's Les Misérables embodies GERET Jean Valjean.
