GeoTools

GeoTools is a free Java library for processing and display of geographic data.

The GeoTools library uses the JTS Topology Suite and implements the Simple Feature Access specification of the Open Geospatial Consortium ( OGC). The library is used both for web GIS projects (WFS, WMS) as GeoServer as well as for desktop GIS projects such as uDig or AtlasStyler.
