Gerald Klews

Gerald Klews ( born April 4, 1972) is a former German football player.

Playing career

Gerald Klews played in his youth at the Berlin clubs Westend 01 Berlin and SC Siemens city before he moved to the HSV amateurs. In 1992 he moved to Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga 2. At first he could under Bernd Stange there not prevail. As it was, however, after a failed start to the season replaced by Günter Sebert, Klews came to his first stakes in the second league. By season's end, he had appeared in 25 league games. In the same season the amateurs of Hertha reached surprisingly the DFB Cup final.
