Gerald Kyd
Gerald Kyd (born 1973 in Pretoria, South Africa, as Gerasimos Awkoumides ) is a Scottish actor of Greek descent.
Life and career
Gerald Kyd moved in 1980 with his family from South Africa to the United Kingdom. There he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art Upon completion of this he attended the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Kyd graduated in 1997 made an appearance in Underworld, before moving up in Casualty 2006 took over the role of Sean Maddox of 1998. In 1999 he made a guest appearance in the pros - The Next Generation. In 2004, he was featured in the film The Defender. 2010 was followed by a starring role in the short-lived NBC series Persons Unknown, in which he starred alongside Jason Wiles and Daisy Betts among others. In 2012 he was in two episodes of the series The Midnight Beast of the party before he appeared in an episode of The Bible 2013.
