Gérard Darmon

Gérard Darmon (* February 29, 1948 in Paris ) is a French actor and singer.

Life

Gérard Darmon comes from a family of Algerian immigrants. He was discovered for the cinema by Roger Hanin. His first film role in the movie The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob of Gérard Oury, in which he plays one of the henchmen of Colonel Farès. A wider public he was known in 1980 by his appearance in Diva by Jean -Jacques Beineix, followed by The Superboß, on the side of Roger Hanin. His first major role came in 1983 in The Prince, a film directed by Tony Gatlif. In the following years he played among others in several films directed by Claude Lelouch, 2002, he was in the role of Pyradonis in Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra by Alain Chabat to see. In 2003, he released his first album as a singer, followed by other publications in the years 2006 and 2008.
