Gérard Hausser

Gérard Hausser ( born March 18, 1939 in Strasbourg ) is a French former football player.

Career

Association

Gérard Hausser played from 1960 to 1967 with Racing Strasbourg, from the youth team, he was also emerged. During this time he won with his teammates under coach Paul Frantz the French Cup in 1966 with a 1-0 win against FC Nantes. From the 1967/68 season he played one year for the Bundesliga side Karlsruher SC. The Karlsruhe institution his old coach Paul Frantz was employed. Karlsruhe dismounted and Hausser went back to France for FC Metz. At Metz he played three years before he returned to Racing Strasbourg. Since 1981 he worked as a manager at AS Pierrot Vauban Strasbourg until 1983.

He later worked as a reporter for the magazine " Le Coq Sportif ".

Hausser has fourteen games for the national team of France denied. He participated in the 1966 World Cup in England. Hausser participated in all three group matches in part and scored a goal, but could not avoid the Eliminated in the group stage.
