Gérard Tremblay

Gérard Tremblay PSS ( born October 27, 1918 in Montreal, Canada) is a retired Auxiliary Bishop of Montréal.

Life

Gérard Tremblay was consecrated on 16 June 1946, the Sulpician priest. He was appointed on 20 March 1981 for the Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal, as well as titular bishop of Trisipa. The Archbishop of Montreal, Cardinal Paul Grégoire consecrated him on 22 May of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Leonard James Crowley, Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal, and Adrien André Maria Cimichella OSM, Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal.

On August 27, 1991 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
