A special feature of these recordings is to say that they are so formed without fixed written text only due to an exposé of Hassler; the actresses and actors had - as well as Hassler himself - during the recordings so improvise along the predetermined storyline.

In addition to the Kasper stories he wrote and produced some thirty other children and youth radio plays, for example, after the Grimm's fairy tales, stories of 1001 nights or stories of Karl May, but also science fiction radio plays like a visitor from outer space.

In addition, he produced a total of 27 records with or composed of arranged music he: Shanties, student songs, folk music and children's songs.
