Geronimo Stilton

Geronimo Stilton is a program begun in 2000 Italian children's book series and cartoon series about a figure of eponymous publishing house Edizioni Piemme.

The really stuffy mouse Stilton lives in Mausilia on the mice Island. He works as a publisher of the daily newspaper " New rodent News " as a hobby, he collects antique cheese rinds. But most of all he writes stories about his exciting adventures, he solves crimes and seeks treasures when he is excited, he calls " Gracious Gouda ". He is supported by his nephew Benjamin ( whose computer Benpad called) and his girlfriend Pandora, his sister Thea and his bumbling greedy cousin Farfalle, called FF. In German the books of Rowohlt be laid, a cartoon series ran on the children's channel.

The book series won the 2001 Premio Andersen.
