Gers (river)
The Gers flows through the city, too
The Gers is a river in south-western France. It rises on the plateau of Lannemezan, in the Hautes -Pyrénées and drains generally in a northerly direction. After 176 km it flows in Layrac, southeast of Agen, a left tributary of the Garonne. The Gers department was named after this river.
