Gervasio Gestori

Gervasio Gestori ( born 1 February 1936 in Barlassina ) is an Italian clergyman and Bishop Emeritus of San Benedetto del Tronto Ripatransone -Mont Alto.

Life

Gervasio Gestori received on 28 June 1959, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 21 June 1996 as Bishop of San Benedetto del Tronto Ripatransone -Mont Alto. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Milan, Carlo Maria Cardinal Martini, SJ, on 7 September of the same year; Co-consecrators were Giuseppe Chiaretti, Archbishop of Perugia - Città della Pieve, and Bernardo Citterio, Auxiliary Bishop of Milan.

On November 4, 2013 Francis Pope accepted his resignation age-related.
