Gesche Schünemann

Gifts Schünemann ( born November 18, 1982 in Gießen) is a German national player in wheelchair basketball.

Since 2006, Schünemann wheelchair basketball plays. Since then, she was already two-time European champion (once in Wetzlar ), silver medal winner at the Paralympic Summer Games in Beijing in 2008, German champion and Cup winner with the RSV Lahn -Dill and gold medal winner at the Paralympic Summer Games in 2012. Lives in Tübingen, where she also sports management studied with a focus on marketing. Previously Schünemann was active as a swimmer, the parade route was the 200 meter breaststroke. Her twin sister is called Meike.

She has been awarded the Silver laurel leaf of the Federal Republic of Germany.
