The Gesse is a river in France, which runs in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It rises on the plateau of Lannemezan, in the municipality of Arné, drained generally northeast and ends after 52 kilometers in the municipality of Espaon as a left tributary of the Sava. On their way they touched the departments of Hautes -Pyrénées, Haute- Garonne and Gers. Because it leads to droughts little water, it is - as most of the rivers on the plateau of Lannemezan - irrigated; in their case by the Canal de la Gimone, which in turn gets its water from the Canal de la Neste.
