Gevorg Davtyan

Gevorg Dawtjan (Armenian Գեւորգ Դավթյան, born January 4, 1983 in Gyumri, Armenia ) is an Armenian weightlifter.

Career

His biggest success came Gevorg Dawtjan at the Summer Olympic Games in 2008, where he was able to win a bronze medal in the weight category up to 77 kg, with a total capacity of 360 kg.

Moreover, won at the 2007 World Championships in the category up to 77 kg with a total capacity of 362 kg. Also includes two gold medals in 2006 and 2007, which he had brought at the European Championships.

From November 18, 2003 has been banned by the International Weightlifting Gevorg Dawtjan Federation ( FILA ) wegebn doping until 18 November 2005.
