The Ghomálá ' (translated " language of the country / village " ) is one of eleven bantoiden Bamileke languages.
It comes from the standard dialect of Bandjoun and is a written language that is used by speakers of other languages Bamileke.
Localization
The Ghomala ' is spoken mainly in the West Province of Cameroon:
- Mifi, Koung - Khi and Hauts plateaux: The largest part of the three departments (except extreme south and parts of the North and West )
- Menoua: East of the department
- In Bambouto massif
The language had in the year 1982 260.000 speaker and heard as the other Bamileke languages to the family of semi- Bantu languages.

- North Ghomálá ' ( Fusap, Lang)
- South Ghomálá ' (Te, Pa, Dengkwop )
- Ngemba ( Bamenjou, Bafunda, Bansoua, Baméka, Bamougoum ).
The sub- dialects of Baméka of Bansoa and Bales singing come from the South Ghomala '. The North Ghomálá ' has two sub- dialects, the Central Ghomala ' has four and the Ngemba has 5
