Gian-Carlo Coppola

Gian- Carlo Coppola ( born September 17, 1963 at Los Angeles County, California, USA; † 26 May 1986 as Annapolis, Maryland, USA) was an American film actor and film producer.

Life

Gian- Carlo Coppola - eldest son of film director Francis Ford Coppola and his wife Eleanor Coppola - was the brother of Roman and Sofia Coppola and cousin of Nicolas Cage.

1972 The Godfather 1974 The Dialog 1979 and Apocalypse Now were three feature films of his father, in which Coppola was involved in small roles. In 1983 he was involved in both The Outsiders and Rumble Fish on as production manager on the film production.

Coppola married Jacqui De La Fontaine. During the second month of pregnancy of his wife Gian Carlo Coppola was killed in a boating accident in the Chesapeake Bay at the age of 22 years died. His daughter Gia was born on 1 January 1987.
