Gianluca Zambrotta

Gianluca Zambrotta ( born February 19, 1977 in Como) is an Italian football player and coach. He began his career as a right midfielder and can play on both the left and on the right side of defense.

Career

In the club

Zambrotta began his career in 1994 at Como Calcio in Serie B. He played at this time on the right side of midfield and was a regular player. When the team was relegated at the end of the 1996/97 season, he was bound by the AS Bari. In Serie A, he was achievers at Bari.
