Gibeah

Gibeah ( Vulgate: Gabaa; Hebrew means " hill " ) is located 6 km north of Jerusalem, today Tall Al Ful or Tell el- Ful. According to biblical tradition here was the first Israelite. Residence under King Saul ( 1000 BC ).

Parts of the town have been excavated from 1922 to 1933. There in the corner of a fortress were found that dated after the ceramic around 1000 BC.
