Giddha

Giddha ( Punjabi ਗਿੱਧਾ, Giddha ) is a folk dance that originated in Punjab, a region in northwestern India and Pakistan. It is danced by women, while men dance the Bhangra. The Giddha is often danced at weddings. The dance is often made ​​without instruments. The women clap their hands or spoon beat each other to keep the rhythm, but sometimes are also small barrel drums ( dholak ) are used.
