Gidon Graetz

Life and work

Graetz was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in Haifa. The mid-fifties of the 20th century, he studied art at the Accademia della Belle Arti in Florence and at the École nationale supérieure des beaux -arts in Paris.

His artistic work is focused on creating metal sculptures of all sizes. The style is influenced by Constantin Brancusi and Henry Moore. His monumental public sculptures can be found in many cities of the world such as Tel Aviv, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin and Zurich.
