Gieselau

The Gieselau is a creek in the middle of the western Schleswig -Holstein, in the eastern Dithmar. He is first documented in 1531 mentioned as " Gieselowe ".

The Gieselau has multiple source streams. Two of their headwaters hot Westerau and Bellerbek, both of which have their origin north of Albers village. In the community Schrum and Welmbüttel springing sources can be found in the source stream, has been named the Neocorus in 1600 with Kellihorn - vagina - Beek, together. This stream presented simultaneously between Welmbüttel and Schrum the boundary between the two is Dithmar ( Neocorus vol II page 267 ). This stream is called later Schrum - Brooks - Beke and will continue south to Westerau and finally to Gieselau.

He is a spawning ground for sea trout.
