Giessenburg

Casting Castle was a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It was formed on September 1, 1957 unification of the two communities Giessen- Nieuwkerk and Peursum. On 1 January 1986 it was merged with Arkel, Hoogblokland, Hoornaar, Noordeloos and Schelluinen the new community Giessenlanden.
