Gigi Edgley
Gigi Edgley (born 16 November 1977 in Perth, Western Australia ) is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Chiana on the science fiction series Farscape.
Biography
Gigi Edgley is the daughter of Michael Edgley MBE and former Miss Australia Jeni Edgley. In 1998, she received her Bachelor of Arts at the Queensland University of Technology.
Her first role was Edgley 1998 in the docudrama The train accident ( The Day of the Roses ) for Granville train crash near Sydney in 1977. Was followed by guest appearances in several Australian television series.
From 1999 to 2003 Edgley played one of the lead roles in Farscape as well as in the final mini-series Farscape: . The Peacekeeper Wars 2004 This commitment earned her, among others, in 2002 was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress a television series one.
Since 2009, she has a starring role in the Australian television series Rescue: Special Ops.
