Gilbert Saboya Sunyé

Gilbert Saboya Sunye ( born July 28, 1966 in Sant Julia de Loria ) is an Andorran economist and politician. Gilbert Sunye since 2011, the current Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra.

Life

After attending school in his native town, he studied at the Universitat d' Andorra. After studying economics at the University of Toulouse (France), he worked until 2009 in a bank. From 1994 to 1997 he was a member of the National Democratic Grouping (AND) and a member of the General Council ( Consell General de les Valls ).

Since 2008 he is member of the party Partit reform Ista d' Andorra ( PRA). In 2010 he founded a company for the financial and management consulting. On 12 June 2011 he was elected Secretary of State and the successor of Xavier Espot Miró.

Since November 2012, the Foreign Minister Gilbert Sunye is also President of the Committee of Ministers in Brussels.
