The Gilsbach at election Bach

The Gilsbach is a small stream and feed the Heller in Southern winner country. The stream springs from the north-east of the village of the same name, and flows west and then south towards Gilsbach. In the village he bends to the southwest and flows from there undeveloped Gilsbachtal on. West -flowing stream of leads north past election creek where it discharges into the Light.

Three nature reserves are in Gilsbachtal and its side valleys:

• NSG Sehmbach headwaters area (8.1 ha)
• NSG Geller meadow (9.6 ha, spread over two areas)
• NSG Gilsbachtal ( 60.1 ha)
