Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera

The Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera is a sports hall in Mexico City. It is located in close proximity to the swimming pool Alberca Francisco Márquez Olympic Village. The overhanging roof structure is strengthened with steel cables, corresponds to the roof of the swimming pool. In the hall find 5242 spectators. During the Summer Olympics in 1968, the Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera was the main venue of the Olympic volleyball tournaments.
