Gina Bellman

Gina Bellman (* July 10, 1966 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a British actress.

Life

Bellman was born to Russian- Polish Jews who had emigrated in the 1950s from England to New Zealand. When she was eleven years old, the family moved back to England.

With 14 years of Bellman starred in the play The Crucible at the National Theatre. Your first claims to professional role was a supporting role as Tamar in the 1985 film adaptation of King David. She became known in 1989 through the book - film adaptation of Black Eyes. Another well-known role (outside the UK probably the best known ) is that of Jane in the BBC sitcom Coupling. In addition, she starred in movies like You're still alive 7 days, and Paranoid, and several theater plays.

2007 Bellman looked at with a modern and written by Steven Moffat author Coupling BBC mini series called Jekyll. In 2008 she took over the role of impostor Sophie Devereaux in the TNT series Leverage, which she played until the end of the 2012 series.
