Ginette Neveu

Ginette Neveu ( born August 11, 1919 in Paris, † October 28, 1949 near the Azores in a plane crash ) was a French violinist.

His first violin lessons when she was the age of five by her mother, in 1930 she joined the violin class of Jules Boucherit one at the Paris Conservatory and was almost eight months later the diploma with a first prize awarded. From 1931 to 1935 she was a student of Carl Flesch in Baden -Baden. In 1935 she won first prize in the Wieniawski Competition in Warsaw. From then on, her career developed steadily, at least since the end of the thirties she was finally on the way to the top.

She was on her way to a concert tour in the U.S. when she was killed in the plane crash on the Monte Redondo along with her brother.
