Ginhart is a hamlet of the municipality Mengkofen in the Bavarian district of Dingolfing- Landau.

Geography

Ginhart is located in the district of Mulhouse community Mengkofen. Ginhart originally belonged to the municipality of Asbach, which was divided in 1970 between Laberweinting and Süßkofen. When dividing Ginhart the community Süßkofen was slammed. The community was incorporated after Süßkofen Mengkofen on 1 May 1978. Since then Ginhart is a municipality part of Mengkofen.

The place is the border of the districts of Straubing and Landshut dar. neighboring towns in the northeast Pramersbuch, in the eastern sub- Allmann Bach, Haguenau in the southeast, southwest Gera stream, in the west Penk and in the northwest corner of the valley.

History

The hamlet had the 1100. Founding festival and is thus one of the oldest in the region.
