Ginni Rometty

Virginia Marie " Ginni " Rometty (born 1958 ) is an American computer scientist, electrical engineer and business manager. Since the beginning of 2012, she is the CEO and President of IBM.

Life

Rometty was born the eldest of four children and grew up in a suburb of Chicago. She reached in 1979 at the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University awarded a bachelor's degree in computer science and electrical engineering and was then first at the General Motors Institute operates.
