Gintra Universitetas
FK Gintra Universitetas is a Lithuanian woman football club from Šiauliai. The club plays in the A Lyga Woman and has won all the championships since 2003. Thus the club qualified regularly for the former UEFA Women 's Cup and UEFA Women's Champions League. But they never went far beyond the first round.
History
The hockey club " Gintra " Šiauliai Šiauliai and HFTC formed in 1999 a joint football team in which only played hockey players. In 1999, the Lithuanian team football champion. Later, there were individual sponsors of the hockey and football teams and there arose individual clubs. The end of 2002, the club signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Šiauliai, the team has been called since 2003 " Gintra - Universitetas ".
