Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani ( born July 11, 1934 in Piacenza, Italy) is an Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur. Armani is one of the "greatest fashion designers of the 20th century". He founded in 1975 international fashion company Giorgio Armani SpA bears his name.

Life history

After an aborted study medicine Armani worked as a window dresser, then as Ausstellungsarrangeur and eventually became fashion buyer and director of menswear boutique of the Milan department store La Rinascente.
