Reviews

  • " A painting by the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer serves as inspiration for the Spartan story of a young girl's house and his shy and untreated hints affection for the artist, which they eventually even model sits. A without any concessions to contemporary taste and audience expectations unrealized film, which converts the style of Dutch painting of the 17th century virtuoso and suspenseful in a modern medium. A tribute to the art and at the same time an extremely sensitive study of the Dutch town of Delft. " ( Filmdienst )
