Giuliano Vangi
Giuliano Vangi ( born March 13, 1931 in Barberino di Mugello (Florence) ) is an Italian sculptor.
Vangi grew up in Florence, where he also studied at the Art Academy. In 1998 he was awarded the Antonio Feltrinelli Prize - and received the 2002 Praemium Imperiale in Japanese Price range sculpture, with 15 million yen (about 129,000 euros ) is doped. This world 's most prestigious art award is considered the Nobel Prize of the Arts.
Vangi lives in Pesaro and has a studio in Fano. Because of partnerships between cities Rastatt ( Germany ) and Fano and the district of Rastatt and the province of Pesaro and Urbino came into existence exhibitions in Rastatt.
